Hesitation between first and second gear?
Gear hunting at low speed, early upshifts or jerky 2-to-1 downshifts are typical reasons to investigate DSG behaviour. On a mechanically healthy gearbox, suitable software and adaptation can reduce or resolve software-related hesitation.
Not every jolt is a software issue. Clutch wear, mechatronics, fluid/service history and stored faults must be checked first. TCU optimisation does not replace mechanical repairs and cannot guarantee a cure for every vehicle.
